My contribution to this week’s Illustration Friday is an illustrative type that based around the perennial, Clematis. Clematis is the queen of climbing vines and is part of the same family as anemones, buttercups and peonies. They are also known under the names: travellers’ joy and old man’s beard.

The new mother savoured a moment of quiet while her little cherub laid fast asleep.
