MP 013: Nema the Unloved
After a busy weekend of Valentine’s Day on Saturday and playing board games on Sunday, I almost forgot about my weekly Monster Parade post! Monster Parade was started back in November 2008 as a means of displaying some of my random creature sketches that get turned into vectors.
Without further delay here is Nema, who didn’t have a very good weekend and is currently feeling unloved.

Roses are red, Violets are blue,
Oh it’s this time of year again, What did you all do?
I spent this morning making cupcakes. I’m quite pleased how they turned out. It’s been ages since I’ve made buttercream.
Hope you all have a happy Valentine’s Day!
Inspire Me Thursday – Fold
Here is my first contribution to Inspire Me Thursday.
This week’s theme is Fold.

Here are some heart shaped boxes for V-Day next Saturday. Admittedly they are cut and fold (no glue though!).
I felt I was cheating somehow by introducing the cutting aspect. So I decided to revisit and retry making some of the origami things I used to fold years ago.
I hope the photos look okay to you folks. I always feel that artificial lighting makes things more prone to being blurry -_-…
Valentine’s Day is next week!
With V-Day being less than a week away – what will you be giving? What will you get?
Here are some V-Day related images I made recently, some of which I’ve entered into Tigerprint’s online card competition.
After all the red and pink hearts I decided that other colours of hearts should exist too!
I also stumbled across this rather amusing article on Guidespot which outlines 15 Ways to Ruin Valentine’s Day. It makes a good reminder of the things one should try to avoid!
Now dont forget: Valentine’s Day is next Saturday, 14th February
