After the 3DPrintCup Challenge came to an end (see Part 1 and Part 2) all the critters broke out of the Tib Street Travern basement.
Quite a few things have happened since the original post about the #3DPrintCup. There was a drop in session that allowed participants to test out the 3D Printer. I was considering having movable parts in my character and also wanted to see how intricate designs might be produced.
While thinking about character designs for the #3DPrintCup I was reminded of a mascot design that I had yet to document online.
I’m looking forward to taking part in the 3DPrintCup Competition organised by Cartridge Save, a business based in nearby Stockport. It involves designing a character that will then be 3D printed using a Makerbot Replicator 2X. Continue reading
